On June 17th the Modena Fire Company was alerted to assist the Thorndale Fire Company on a reported house fire in the 1400 lock of Oak Street. Engine 37 and Squad 37 were clearing a building fire two streets over when a second report fire in Caln Township was being dispatched. Squad 37 assumed the First due engine assignment, Engine 37 operated as the second due engine assignment. Squad 37 along with Engine 37 crew stretched a line to side Charlie to gain access through the bilco doors to knock the fire. Crew remained on scene for two hours before clearing.
