On Friday night April 11, 2008 as most firefighter prepared for bed they were alerted at 2229 hours to S. Caln Road and Goosetown Road in East Fallowfield Township for a reported auto accident with unknown injuries.
Chief Dowlin was first to arrive onscene to find a pick up truck into a tree the driver had fled the scene so Chief Dowlin held the response to Tac and Traffic 37. Fire police closed S. Caln Rd at Goosetown and turned traffic around on the other side directing them back to West Chester Rd. Tac 37 arrived and provided lighting for police.
Buzz Woodward from Woodward Towing arrived with his new flat bed truck and took the pick up to his yard until police located the owner.
All units cleared the scene at 2307 hours.
