| On Saturday December 1, 2007 the Modena Fire Company joined many other surrounding companies and business in the annual Coatesville Christmas parade.
This parade is the one tradition that the City of Coatesville has keep going over all the years. This year's parade will go down as one of the best. The following are just some groups participating in this years parade Coatesville School ROTC, the state champion Coatesville Red Raider marching band, mummers, church groups, boy scout clubs, motorcycle clubs, many tow truck companies, many sports mascots, many politicians, and the big man himself Santa.
Many people come from all over to see this parade this year was no different in that the main street of Coatesville was wall to wall with people.
The Fire Companies got a chance to watch the parade this year at 1st Avenue before jumping in the line up in front of Santa and leading him with lights, sirens, and air horns to the end of the parade.
Go to our vidio section to here jiggle bells being played with air horns on the truck.
The Modena Fire Company took 2nd place this year behind the Downingtown Fire Department
We would like to thank the City Of Coatesville for allowing use to be part of the parade another year and hope that they keep this one tradition going. |
