| In the early morning hours of Thursday July 1 2919 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched at 0424 for one engine to relocate to the Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company. Engine 37-2 with a crew of four made the response and was notified by Chester County fire radio to change our assignment to relocate to the Kennett Fire Company.
Both Po-Mar-Lin and Kennett were out assisting the Longwood Fire Company on a working house fire on Center Mill Road in Kennett Township.
Once at Kennett the crew enjoyed the hospitality that Kennett's station and members provided, they took advantage of the lovely sun rise while sitting on the patio out front eating their breakfast they stopped to get on the way into town.
Around 0800 Kennett returned to their station with very little to clean up, Engine 37-2 was released to return to our district. |
