On October 28th 2013, At 9:58 the Modena Fire Company was dispatched to 31 Montclair Avenue for a reported gas leak inside.
Engine 37-2, Ambulance 37-2, Traffic 37, Squad 37 and Deputy 37 Perine all made the response at 10:04 and were advised by the 911 center that the caller reported an odor of gas in their house. Crews were also advised that the resident would be leaving and forcible entry may be needed.
All 37 units arrived on-scene to find the South Coatesville Police and Peco already on the scene. Crews forced entry into the residence and used gas meters to monitor the home for gas but were unable to locate anything.
Deputy 37 placed the situation under control and turned the scene over to Peco with all 37 units being made available.
